About Jim

Jim Jones is an Emmy-nominated Production Designer and Art Director with over 30 years of experience shaping the visual worlds of iconic daytime dramas and sitcoms. Raised in Highland Mills, New York, Jim brings a grounded work ethic and pragmatic approach to design, holding a BFA in Theater Design from SUNY Purchase.

After honing his craft on General Hospital—a high-tempo environment he considers his "television boot camp"—Jim went on to serve as Production Designer for major series including All My Children, iCarly, Jessie, and Bunk'd. His work on All My Children earned him two consecutive Daytime Emmy nominations.

Known for creating authentic, character-driven environments, Jim balances creative vision with strong fiscal responsibility and quick, decisive problem-solving. Off-set, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, playing golf, watching films, and playing the occasional video game.
